The assault caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
